Next week you will be invited to take part in the third survey of ideas and opinions on the implementation of CUNYfirst.

As you very likely know, the CUNYfirst Project is a multi-year effort to install 21st-century software and systems, and integrate them into CUNY processes via new information systems and transaction process and applications. As these changes may affect your work in the coming years, we want your thoughts and ideas about them. Your opinions will be very helpful in making this effort succeed.

Although the survey is short, I want you to have advance notice of it so that you can plan the time to complete it. In 2007 and 2008, we conducted our initial surveys and received more than 2,000 responses each time, all very helpful.

When this email survey comes to you, I hope that you will read it and fill it out right away. Your answers can help us to make your campus, and all of CUNY, a better and more effective place to carry out our missions.

We want your honest comments. Your responses on this survey will be completely confidential. It has been designed and will be administered by the highly regarded Baruch College Survey Research team, who will ensure that no university official sees your individual responses.

As in the past, I promise that we will be attentive to, and respond to, your comments and ideas.

Thank you in advance for your help.
