The Music Program of the Department of Performing and Creative Arts presents The OMNI Ensemble on Thursday, Oct. 21 in the Center for the Arts (Building 1P) Recital Hall at 1:30pm.
Directed by CSI faculty member David Wechsler, flute, the ensemble includes Brian Snow, cello; James Johnston, piano; and guest artist, Renee Manning, vocalist. The program will feature recently composed works by Henryk Mikolaj Górecki (b. 1933), Jay Vilnai (b. 1977), and Eric Klein (b. 1960), as well as the Sonata for cello and piano by Claude Debussy (1862-1918).
Admission is free of charge and this event is open to the public.
