This past weekend’s temperamental weather, today’s rain, and the upcoming forecast is certainly toying with the College of Staten Island spring slate of athletic scheduling.  Men’s Baseball, Women’s Softball, and Men’s Tennis have all been affected.  Below is a breakdown of what is on tap:Men’s Baseball

Today’s single nine-inning game vs. SUNY-Old Westbury, scheduled for 7pm, is still on.  Due to the upcoming weekend forecast, however, CSI will shuffle its schedule.  Rather than play Baruch College at CSI for a single game at 12 Noon on Friday, CSI will travel to MCU Ballpark in Brooklyn to face Baruch for a CUNYAC doubleheader beginning at 1pm.  Then, the two teams will meet, weather-permitting, for a single game on Saturday at 12 Noon at CSI.  That game will not count towards the CUNYAC standings.Women’s Softball

Today’s doubleheader at Farmingdale State College is still on as scheduled.  The Dolphins, however, have cancelled their non-conference doubleheader on Thursday at Ramapo College, to allow themselves to make up a single game against Baruch College at 3pm at the CSI Softball Complex on that day.  This one game will make-up the one rained-out this past Saturday.  CSI will be the visiting team despite playing on their home field and the game will count towards the CUNYAC standings.

Also, in anticipation of the rough weekend weather, the CUNYAC doubleheader against Hunter College on Saturday, April 23, at 12 Noon, has now been officially moved to Friday, April 22, also at 12 Noon at the CSI Softball Complex.Men’s Tennis

Today’s scheduled match against City College of New York, alted for 3pm at Crotona Park in the BRonx, New York has been officially postponed.  The make up will take place on Friday, April 22, at 12 Noon, still at Crotona Park.
