This year, “Take Back the Night” will take place on Tuesday evening, Oct. 16 from 6:30pm to 9:00pm in the Campus Center (Building 1C) Green Dolphin Lounge.
We dedicate the evening to a recent CSI graduate, Simonette Mapes (MA Education), whose murder in July shocked and grieved those at CSI who knew her.
Speakers will include:
-Farah Tannis, Executive Director, Black Women’s Blueprint
-Veronica Green, Safe Horizon
-Sethu Nair, Sakhi
Audience members will also be encouraged to share their stories.
The second part of the evening will include a candlelight march.
