John Pignatelli of the College of Staten Island&rsquo;s Men&rsquo;s Swimming and Diving team has captured his first-ever and the first given this season CUNYAC Performer of the Week for his performance in last week&rsquo;s contest against SUNY-Maritime.<br />

Despite losing to Maritime, 159-67, Pignatelli earned two gold medals in the meet. In the 3M Dive, the sophomore earned a first place finish out of three divers with a score of 165.15. He then swam to a 27.37 finish in the 50 yard freestyle for a 4<sup>th</sup> place mark. The Tottenville High School product completed his performance with a 168.10 score in the 1M dive, good enough for first place out of five divers.<br />

The Dolphins will be back in action on December 5 at 6:00 pm as they travel to Brooklyn College for their first CUNYAC match-up.<br />
