The last time these two teams met was on February 25, 2014, at a neutral site for the CUNYAC Semifinals where the Dolphins were able to defeat the Hawks, 92-74, with an outstanding 30 point performance from Jonathan Chadwick-Myers.  The Dolphins moved onto the finals where they met their untimely end against York College by a score of 84-87. CSI owns the all-time series 45-23 and have won nine of the last ten games.

The Hawks are coming off of a 71-55 victory over Johnson State College which broke their two game losing streak.  Brian Kruger leads the Hawks with 16.2 points per game while shooting 90% from the free throw line.  CSI will need to contain Kruger to limit the Hawks scoring threat and win their first CUNYAC game of the season.

Tonight is the first home game for the Dolphins as they will hope to protect the Dolphin Cove during this three home game stretch.  Junior forward, Will Fonseca, is averaging a double-double with 24 points per game and 12 rebounds per game while shooting 44% from the floor.   Frankie Schettino set a new school record in assists last year and is continuing that trend from last season as he is recording an average of 5 assists per game with 22.7 points per game.
