After 50 wonderful years as a member of the CSI community, I will retire from my current role as Vice President for Information Technology and Economic Development and Executive Director of the CUNY High-Performance Computer Center. In September, I will transition to a new role as Professor Emeritus of Computer Science.

I am deeply grateful to the students, faculty, staff, and administration with whom I have collaborated on many projects in educational technology, telecommunications and networks, high-performance computing, economic development, and teaching, and research. My future activities will focus on research and special projects.

I cherish the friendships I have enjoyed over the past half century as a student, professor, and administrator. With a more flexible schedule in the future, I plan to enjoy being a stay-at-home grandfather with Atticus and Patrick.

Save the date to celebrate together on Wednesday, May 4.
