The men’s tennis team with host conference opponents Baruch College at the CSI Tennis Courts starting at 4 pm. The Dolphins will look to notch their fifth CUNY win of the season and give Baruch their first loss in conference play.
Matchup: CSI (8-4 overall, 4-1 CUNYAC) vs. Baruch College (7-2 overall, 4-0 CUNYAC)
Where: CSI Tennis Courts – 2800 Victory Blvd – Staten Island, NY
First Serve: 4:00 pm
Players To Watch (CSI): As the regular season starts to close, Alex Tsui has racked in seven straight singles wins, posting a 7-2 record. Akaki Dundua also ignited a five-match win streak with a 5-2 record and Mitchel Voloshin remains undefeated, 4-0. The doubles team of Tao Lin/Tsui notched a three-match win streak with a 4-2 record and Dundua/Lin duo post a two-match win streak with a 2-0 record.  
Players To Watch (BC): The Bearcats have four players who are undefeated this season: David Alabo (5-0), Joaquin Azcue (8-0), Marco Gobbato (8-0) and Jamie Zurro (6-0). The doubles teams for the Bearcats has been the deal breaker as they have 11 doubles teams with a perfect record. Baruch has been the team to beat this season and is the only team with a clean CUNYAC record.
News & Notes: The Dolphins’ lone conference loss is against Hunter College, which the Dolphins fell 3-6. The Bearcats toppled the Hawks 8-1 earlier in the year, allowing the Hawks to post a 4-1 record to be tied with the Dolphins.
