I am pleased to announce that Robert Wallace, Esq. has accepted the position of Executive Legal Counsel effective Monday, July 3, 2017.

Mr. Wallace has served the NYC Fire Department since 2006 as the Assistant Commissioner for the Bureau of Investigations and Trials and, most recently, as the Deputy General Counsel for the Bureau of Legal Affairs. Prior to his role at the Fire Department, Mr. Wallace served as an Associate General Counsel and Chief Disciplinary Counsel at NYC Homeless Services and as Assistant District Attorney for the NY County District Attorney’s Office.

Mr. Wallace holds a BA in Political Science from Brooklyn College and a Juris Doctor from Brooklyn Law School.

Please join me in welcoming Mr. Robert Wallace to CSI and wishing him great success as Executive Legal Counsel.

I would also like to take this opportunity to thank Meryl Kaynard for taking on the General Counsel role on an interim basis.  Meryl will stay on in the capacity of Legal Counsel for the next six months to assist the College and Mr. Wallace during this transition.
