With renewed optimism the College of Staten Island women’s volleyball team will be setting their course in 2017 and will do it against a schedule that consists of 23 matches played over the course of 18 dates in September and October with the CUNYAC Championship introducing the month of November.

The Dolphins’ first five matches of the season will take place away from the Sports & Recreation Center, beginning with a road contest at FDU-Florham on September 1.  A week later, CSI will play its first conference matches of the season, when they travel to Brooklyn College to take on both Brooklyn and Medgar Evers College beginning at 12 Noon.  On September 14, CSI will debut on their home floor when they play Hunter College in another CUNYAC tilt at 7:00pm.

After four-straight road contests to close out September, CSI will then play six of their final eight contests at home, including a pair of tri-matches on October 7 and October 9 and a first-ever meeting with Albertus Magnus College on October 12.  CSI will wrap up their CUNYAC schedule with a home contest against John Jay College at 7pm on October 19, before ending their season five days later on the road at Old Westbury on October 24.

The top six teams in the CUNYAC standings will make the CUNYAC Postseason Tournament that starts on October 31 at the higher seeded teams.  The Semifinals and Final all take place at Hunter College on Friday, November 3, beginning at 4:00pm.
