You are invited to a Forum to address the needs of Trans and Gender Non-Conforming community members in New York City on Tuesday, Aug. 29 in the Campus Center (Building 1C) Green Dolphin Lounge from 6:00pm to 9:00pm.

Join AVP, Make the Road New York, Audre Lorde Project, Sylvia Rivera Law Project, Lorena Borjas Community Fund, The Center, the Translatina Network, and Gay Men’s Health Crisis, and the Pride Center of Staten Island, along with New York City Council Speaker Melissa Mark-Viverito and the City Council LGBT Caucus, for a strategy session with community leaders, elected officials, and other professionals on the needs and potential solutions to the violence affecting the Trans and Gender Non-Conforming community in New York City. The discussion will focus on education, immigration, employment, policing, housing, and healthcare, and will be led by Trans and Gender Non-Conforming leaders.

Food and Metrocards will be provided.
