Players to Watch (CSI): Teresa Maresca leads the pod in kills through four matches this season with 14 kills.  Not far behind is Ashley Notaro and Caitlin Esposito with 12 each and they will all look to improve those numbers tonight against the Highlanders.  Alexandria Boachie-Ansah led the Dolphins with 10 digs and seven kills against the Cougars and will want to repeat the performance tonight.  Jessica Cafiero and Vanessa Reyes have split setting duties this season with Reyes holding a 27-26 edge in assists.  Reyes has proven to be a menace when serving this season and has eight service aces to show for it, which leads the Dolphins.
Players to Watch (CU):  Haley Sheehan and Lyntia Gwess are the two attacking threats the Dolphins will need to keep their eyes on.  Sheehan paces the way with 36 kills while Gwess sits in second with 35 kills. Liz White has been able to put her teammates in favorable positions to collect kills and has 74 assists on the year.
News and Notes:  This will be the first meeting between these two teams in program history. The Highlanders started their season with three straight losses before picking up a five-set win over Gwynedd Mercy on Saturday. Cairn went just 4-18 a year ago and ended their season on a five-match losing skid which carried over into the new season. The last time the Highlander’s had a winning season was back in 2013 where they went 24-9 and made it to the NCAA Tournament.  The Dolphins have yet to play a home match this season as this will be their fifth straight match on the road.
