Join us for “Understanding DACA: Knowing Our Options for Safety and Action: A Forum for All Students and Faculty” on Tuesday, Sept. 26 in the  Center for the Arts Williamson Theatre (Building 1P,Room 111) from 2:30pm to 4:00pm. the event will feature César Vargas, Esq., Co-Director of the Dream Action Coalition, New York’s first undocumented attorney, and a Staten Island resident. Vargas is a national immigration reform advocate who made history when a New York court paved the way for him to become the first undocumented immigrant to practice law in the state. He will speak to the CSI community about the options for Dreamer’s rights; safety, and action, and provide information, updates, and methods of organization for action.
