The College of Staten Island women’s tennis squad rebounded nicely after their loss against Brooklyn College with a 5-4 win over CUNYAC rivals, Baruch College. CSI took on the Bearcats at the CSI Tennis Center in a rescheduled match.

The Dolphins would sweep double’s play before moving over the singles.

When played turned to singles, the Bearcats edged out the Dolphins 4-2, however, it wasn’t enough to stop the Dolphins from picking up a CUNYAC win.  Tristiana Adragna picked up a win on court three by a score of 7-5 and 6-2 to keep the Bearcats at bay.  Katherine Villarroel also played well and sealed the deal for the Dolphins on court five with a tight 7-6 win followed by a 6-0 win to give CSI the two wins they needed.

The Dolphins return to action on Wednesday, October 11 when they travel to Wayne, NJ to take on William Paterson at 4:00 pm.
