The College of Staten Island women’s cross-country team is ready for its next run, this time travelling to Branch Brook Park in Newark, NJ, to take part in the New Jersey Institute of Technology’s Highlander Challenge.

Runners to Watch (CSI): The Dolphins participated in their first 6k of the season last week, and got a nice effort from Tristiana Adragna, who came in under the 30-minute mark at 28:12.1.  Veronica Lorenzo was next up at 30:34.9 amd Jessica Lin led all freshman runners with a time of 35:43.5.  Today’s race will be another 5k, CSI’s third of the season.  Lorenzo has the best 5k time on the team so far with a 23:47 run at the Bard Invitational, that is followed by Adragna’s QCC Invite run of 24:17.7 at Van Cortlandt Park in the Bronx, NY.  Both Lin and fellow frosh Stephanie DaSilva came in under the 30-minute mark at Bard as well.
