The College of Staten Island women’s soccer heads to Madison, NJ tonight to take on the Devils of FDU- Florham at 7:00 pm.  The Dolphins are coming off of a 1-0 win over Rosemont College that snapped a two-game losing skid.

Players to Watch (CSI): Susan Aracena has been efficient despite only starting in two games this season. Aracena is second on the team with six points, two goals, and two assists.  Aracena has been able to use her pace and skill on the ball to get around defenders and create opportunities for her team. Victoria Sanchez has been a threat up top for the Dolphins and Staten Island will look to get her on the scoresheet for the third time this season. In both games that Sanchez has scored the Dolphins have won.
Players to Watch (FDU): Amanda Croce leads the Devils with five goals this season in 580 minutes of action. Nathalia Gallo has split time with fellow goalkeeper Kassidy Germann but has the lowest goals allowed average on the squad with just two.
News and Notes: This will be the seventh meeting between these two schools with the Devils boasting a 6-0 record. The Dolphins were shutout in the first five meetings but were able to net their first goal in the meeting last October where they fell by a score of 2-1.  Staten Island has averaged 1.55 goals per game while allowing just over one per game this season.  The women are holding opponents to just eight shots per game while rifling off 16 of their own.
