The College of Staten Island softball team returns to their home field to take on non-conference opponents Old Westbury tonight at 5:00 pm.

Players to Watch (CSI): Jamie Holmes is the RBI leader for the Dolphins, collecting 24 this season while Gabriele DeLeon sits in second with 17.  Holmes is third on the team with a .390 batting average while Patricia Riches leads all Dolphins with a .432 average. Antoinette Galbo is tied with four other Dolphins with two home runs, after collecting her second against York as part of her game one cycle. Nicolette Trapani and Alison Meagher will split duties in the circle for the Dolphins with Trapani edging out Meagher with a 2.69 ERA.
Players to Watch (OW): Amelia Cariddi paces the Panthers with a .460 average and has 11 RBI on the year. Amanda Fucci leads the team with 19 RBI and has walked 11 times this season.  Lauren Bloom is the power for Old Westbury and has a team-high two homers and also leads with a 9 doubles.  
News & Notes:  The Dolphins lead the all-time series 12-5 and are 9-2 against Old Westbury at the CSI Softball Complex. Staten Island has won three of the last five meetings and swept their last meeting in 2015. The Panthers will come into tonight’s doubleheader on a two-game win streak while the Dolphins come in winner’s of their last four. As a team, the Dolphins are hitting .304 and have hit eight home runs compared to the Panthers’ .343 average.
