The Division of Humanities and Social Sciences will host Humanities Career Day on Thursday, Apr. 19.

the event will feature an Advisement Session on Healthcare Jobs and the Humanities in Building 3S, Room 111 from 2:30pm to 4:00pm, to discuss how HSS graduates get jobs in the healthcare industry. This includes everything from working in a hospital’s HR office to going to medical school (with a BA degree) and becoming a physician.

In addition, there will be a panel discussion, titled “Conversations with Professionals: Your Future Is Bright,” in the Library (Building 1L), Room 203 from 6:30pm to 8:00pm, featuring professionals who have humanities and social science undergraduate degrees. A member of the Center for Career and Professional Services will also discuss transactional skills with students.

Throughout the day, Career Services will provide walk-in hours and assistance in résumé building and internship possibilities geared to Humanities and Social Sciences majors.
