The College of Staten Island women’s volleyball team will look to put an end to their two-game losing skid today in a CUNYAC tri-match against CCNY and Lehman College.

Players to Watch (CSI): Francesca Castellano and Margaret O’Malley-Rebovich will look to continue leading the way in terms of kills and help get the Dolphins out of their losing skid. Caitlin Esposito sits atop the Dolphins with 10 aces from behind the line while Cassidy Iannariello sits second on the team with 40 digs.  Arianna Spears is coming off of CUNYAC Rookie of the Week honors and will continue to set the ball in prime attacking positions for her teammates. 
Players to Watch (LC): Caitlin Vernon and Eriadna Vasquez are the attackers for the Lightning, leading the team with 18 and 17 kills, respectively. Vernon is the specialist when it comes to serving as she leads the team with 12 aces.  Samantha Delgado and Christine Tran share setting duties with Delgado leading the way with 27.
Players to Watch (CCNY): Nicole Polanco paces the Beavers with 25 kills with a .134 hitting percentage. Polanco also sits second on the team with 10 service aces. Dzeneta Harambasic leads the team with 70 assists with just six errors on the season. At the net, Rachel Ramirez and Kayla Oge share the lead with three blocks each.
News & Notes: The Dolphins have beat the Lightning in two straight meetings which both took place last season.  Staten Island is also on a four-match win streak against CCNY dating back to 2014. As a team, the Dolphins are hitting .155 while their opponents hit .164 against them. Lehman College is hitting -.014 as a squad while collecting just five kills per set. The Beavers are hitting .103 tallying eight kills per set while also committing an average of three errors per set.
