DCAS Citywide Training Center Open Enrollment and Onsite Courses

October 19, 2018 10:22 am

The DCAS Citywide Training Center has announced its Course Schedule for Fall 2018. The schedule for Citywide Training Center (CTC) open enrollment courses (OE) includes (but is not limited to):

·         Three versions (2010, 2013, 2016) and various levels of Office Technology courses (Access, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project, Visio Professional, Word), Crystal Reports

·         Personal Development courses in Communications, Anger Management, Time Management, Negotiation

·         Managerial and Supervisory development courses in Change Management, Delegation, Motivation, Selection Interviewing, Writing Performance Evaluations

·         Professional Certification courses for IT, Audit, Energy Management, Architectural Design, Web Publishing, Project Management (PMP), and Procurement Professionals

You may register for these open-enrollment (OE) courses by completing the online CUNY CTC application. You must have your supervisor sign the form and forward the completed registration form to CSI Human Resources.  Please do not send this form directly to DCAS or CUNY’s OHRM PDLM office.

The cost for CTC OE courses ranges from $200 per day of training to $350 or more depending on the subject matter. See the online CTC Schedule of Courses for additional information. Please note that CUNY employees are not eligible to attend all CTC courses.

Please be advised that DCAS will charge the College when a registered employee decides to skip a DCAS CTC Open Enrollment (OE) course and does not notify PDLM at least seven to ten days before the course begins. As a result, you must notify us immediately if you are unable to attend a course that you are registered for in order to avoid a charge to your Department’s cost center and to allow others who may be on a waitlist, an opportunity to attend in your place. OHRM may also ask you to find a replacement if you cancel at the last minute.

If you have questions, please do not hesitate to contact me at 718.982.2376 or Deborah Cisek at 718.982.2684.
