The College of Staten Island men’s basketball team will look to return to their winning ways this afternoon when they entertain Brooklyn College at The Tank. The Dolphins have stumbled as of late as they have lost 2-of-3 after winning 10 straight. Staten Island has just four games left this season before the CUNYAC Playoffs and will want to return to form before the playoffs begin.

Players to Watch (CSI): One month ago Christian Taylor and Adeola Latunji dropped 29 and 25 points against the Bulldogs in a narrow 69-65 win. The duo needs to have the same performance today after dropping a game to York College where Latunji led the Dolphins with 18 points while Taylor had a season low, seven points. For the season, Taylor leads the Dolphins with 20.5 points while Latunji follows close behind with 18.3 points per game. Newcomer, Joseph Zieris has contributed in both games he’s played this season and is averaging 10 points, 1.5 assists, and 7.5 rebounds per game. Stephen Flagg will look to put in a better afternoon of work against the Bulldogs after notching a season-low three points in their last meeting.
Players to Watch (BC): Jade Spencer continues to play at a high level for the Bulldogs after posting 17 points and 13 rebounds in his last outing. The former Dolphin is averaging 12.6 points and 9.5 rebounds per game this season which puts him at the top of the list in both categories. Spencer is shooting a team-best 53% from the floor while also leading the team with 19 blocks. Noah Shy is second on the team with 12.3 points per game and is shooting 23% from 3-point range. The Dolphins will have to keep their eyes open for Michael Tesoriero as he is averaging 3.1 steals per game. 
News & Notes: This series has been dominated by the Dolphins as they have 45 wins to just 16 losses. Staten Island has won six straight against the Bulldogs with their last loss coming in the CUNYAC Semifinals back in 2016. At The Tank, CSI is 20-7 against Brooklyn and have averaged 85 points while holding Brooklyn to 70. The Bulldogs come in averaging 72 points a game this season while the Dolphins come in averaging 79 points per game.
