News & Notes:  These two teams have been meeting pretty regularly since the 2010 season, with Farmingdale holding a modest 4-3 lead in the series.  CSI won the first two meetings between the sides in 2010 and 2011, but then Farmingdale ripped off four-straight wins from 2012 to 2016.  The two teams didn’t play in 2017, but renewed the rivalry last year at Farmingdale, where the Dolphins prevailed, 7-2.  CSI is 1-2 all-time at home against Farmingdale, but will be looking to score their first win against the Rams on home turf since the 2011 season, a tight, 5-4, win.  Both teams come in with identical 8-2 records this season.  Both teams are 2-2 against common opponents.  Both teams defeated St. Joseph’s (LI) by 9-0 scored and both teams defeated Hunter College.  CSI defeated Hunter 5-4, while FSC defeated Hunter, 8-1.  Both teams lost to Yeshiva University, with FSC falling 5-4 and CSI falling, 8-1.  Both teams also lost to Baruch College.  FSC fell 6-3 to the Bearcats while CSI fell, 5-4.
