The College of Staten Island women’s tennis team is getting set for the 2019 campaign, and begin with the announcement of their 2019 competitive schedule.  A lion’s share of their season will be played in the fall with matches promised for the spring semester as well.

CSI will commence play on Friday, September 6, when they take on Kean University on their newly refurbished home courts at 3:30pm.  The next day, they’ll have their first NCAA Division II test when they play national-power Queens College on the road.

Six of the Dolphins’ contests will be against the familiar CUNYAC.  They start that lineup on the road on September 16 against York College and finalize at home against John Jay College on October 11.  Of their 12 total contests, two will be against the East Coast Conference, as they will face off with Queens and Molloy College on October 5.

Should the Dolphins be granted admission to the NCAA Division II ranks, they would be ineligible for the CUNYAC Postseason, making a highlighted regular-season matchup against defending Champs Brooklyn College on October 3 at the Brooklyn College Courts.

During the off-season, CSI will schedule a handful of matches in anticipation of the spring.  Promises matches wll be scheduled with Yeshiva University and St. Thomas Aquinas College.
