Join us for the exhibit “Women on the March.”

Women on the March reveals the history of the Women’s Suffrage Movement in New York, from its beginnings at the Seneca Falls Convention in 1848 to women achieving the vote in 1917.

The role of New York City, and specifically Staten Island, are explored, as well as the opposition they faced, and the new tactics and coalitions that were formed across the decades-long campaign for women’s voting rights.
