ARP to host Luncheon and Talk by VP Michael Kress on New High Performance Computer Center to be Built on Campus

Academy of Retired Professors will host a luncheon and talk by Michael Kress, VP for Information Technology on the new CUNY Interdisciplinary High Performance Computer Center to be built on campus.

After lunch, Michael Kress, Vice-President for Information Technology and Economic Development and Executive Director of the new City University of New York Interdisciplinary High Performance Computer Center, will talk about the new CUNY-wide computer facility at CSI, the work it is doing now in its present facility, and the new building planned to house it on campus.

Attendees will then visit the present facility (located in Building 1M, the former power plant). Building 1M is relatively close to the Park Café.
