Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes first achieved
prominence in the mid-1970s, emerging from the New Jersey
Shore music scene, the same as his now legendary
contemporary and friend Bruce Springsteen.
With horn-driven arrangements rooted in R&B, soul, funk, jazz,
and blues, this legendary group is known for such hits as “I Don’t
Want to Go Home,” “Tell Me Lies,” “Walk
away Renee,” “Little by Little,” and “Having a Party.”
