Joel Erblich (Associate Professor)

Department of Psychology

Joel Erblich (Associate Professor) received his PhD in Clinical Psychology from University of Southern California, completed an internship at UCLA, and a Masters in Public Health from Columbia University. Most recently, he worked at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine on behavioral approaches to cancer prevention and control, with a focus on substance abuse, particularly nicotine dependence. His work in this area emphasizes the connection between biological and behavioral influences on addiction that is expected to lead to new interventions for people struggling with smoking cessation.
