Last Thursday, the Department of Sociology and Anthropology held an online event that was a panel discussion with two of its faculty who recently published books. The panel, moderated by Professor Don Selby, featured Prof. Ismael Garcia-Colon discussing his book, Colonial Migrants at the Heart of Empire: Puerto Rican Workers on U.S. Farms (University of California Press, 2020). The other author was Prof. Jeffrey Bussolini, who translated and introduced The Dance of the Arabian Babbler: Birth of an Ethological Theory, which was authored by Vinciane Desperet (University of Minnesota Press, 2021). A link to a video of this fascinating panel can be found online.
