True Viral News recently highlighted work done by a team of autism researchers that suggests that those with autism lead a better quality of life the earlier they are diagnosed. Mike Letterman’s piece, “Study suggests early self-awareness of autism leads to better quality of life,” focuses on how researchers directly investigated whether learning about a person’s condition at a young age is related to better adult outcomes. The research was co-authored by Dr. Kristen Gillespie-Lynch, professor at the College of Staten Island and The Graduate Center.
