May 01, 2015 11:26 am

On behalf of the College of Staten Island community, we cordially invite you to the memorial event honoring the memory and academic accomplishments of our late colleague, Professor and  Dean Alex Chigogidze.

A long time close collaborator of Dean  Chigogidze, Professor Vesko Valov of Nipissing University has kindly agreed to give a lecture titled “Alex Chigogidze and His Mathematical Legacy” on his academic accomplishments and contributions to the  field of mathematics.

The event will take place on Wednesday, May 13 in the Campus Center (Building 1C) Green Dolphin Lounge from 2:00pm to 5:00pm. If you would like to attend the event and need more information, the location, and local accommodations in the area, please feel free to contact abhijit.champanerkar@csi.cuny.edujesenko.vukadinovic@csi.cuny.edu, or Debbie Britton at debbie.britton@csi.cuny.edu.
