Health and Wellness Services will be hosting SIUH – Northwell Health to provide Narcan education and kit distribution on Thursday, April 19 from 1:00pm to 4:00pm in the Campus Center (Building 1C) outside of the Health Center (Room 112). Students and staff are welcome to stop by to learn how to recognize and respond in the case of an overdose and receive a free overdose prevention Narcan kit.
Narcan education and kit distribution will be part of a larger “Reduce the Risk” presentation for students, focusing on lowering the risks regarding alcohol and drug use. This is a PG CLUE opportunity for students.
