Received her Bachelor’s degree from Eastern Michigan University and her M.S.W. from New York University. She continued her studies in Social Work at New York University’s Silver School of Social, completing her Ph.D. course work and candidacy requirements and is currently ABD. Ms. Gross has taught on the Adjunct Faculty at New York University’s School of Social Work since 1990. Most recently, she was employed by New York City Transit Authority’s Employee Assistance Program where she was involved in implementing the New York State Mandated program on Intimate Partner Violence in the Workplace. Ms. Gross has presented at numerous conferences on her areas of interest. These academic interests include international, transracial and transcultural adoption, substance abuse and clinical practice with Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgendered persons. Ms. Gross is also interested in Social Work and the World of Work.
