Elizabeth Hicks (Assistant Professor) is a graduate of the University of Buffalo, where she received her Master’s Degree in Sociology (2010) and Library Science (2008). Before joining CSI, she taught at Plaza College and the Career Institute of Health and Technology, where she also oversaw the Brooklyn Campus Library. Her research interests include investigating the interaction between libraries, race, socio economic status and life course outcomes, as well as the role of librarians as teachers. Professor Hicks will serve in the position of Evening/Weekend Instruction Librarian.
