Aaron Gilbreath (Assistant Professor) received his Ph.D. in Geography from the University of Kansas. His research interests lie in the geography of crime and specifically, the global drug trade. He utilizes a mixed methodological approach to study the topic, combining historical analysis with spatial statistics and Geographic Information Systems. Aaron’s doctoral research focused on the historical geography of methamphetamine commodity chains. Prior to coming to the College of Staten Island, he worked as an adjunct instructor at Park University and Metropolitan Community College of Kansas City.
