Walter Sistrunk (Substitute Lecturer) – received his Ph.D. and M.A. from Michigan State University, East Lansing, He Majored in African American and African Studies. He received his B.S. from Tuskegee University, and majored in Language Arts Education. He has published and made presentations in his field of African American Studies and Linguistics. Prof. Sistrunk was employed at the School of Cognitive Science, Hampshire College as a Visiting Professor, and as a Visiting Faculty Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Linguistics, at the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
