Hyoung Suk Shim is the substitute lecturer of School of Business and Senior Econometrician of the CUNY High Performance Computing Center, and is an Economics Ph.D. Candidate at The Graduate School of The City University of New York. He received a B.A. in Economics and a B.S in Applied Statistics in 2009 from Yonsei University, Korea. He specializes in spatial linear and discrete choice models, semi-parametric estimation, convex (numerical) optimization, numerical computation and general econometric methods (time series and panel data analysis).
