Andrew was previously an Assistant Professor of Philosophy at Western New England University in Massachusetts. He gained a BA from the University of Sheffield and an MA from Durham University, both in the UK, and his PhD from the University of Hawaii in 2012. His areas of research include contemporary ethics and early Chinese thought. He is currently working on the relationship between Confucian thought and conceptions of care, and a translation of a book by contemporary Chinese philosopher Li Zehou.
