Bang Geul Han is an interdisciplinary artist working predominantly with interactive technologies and time-based media. She’s had recent solo exhibitions at A.I.R. Gallery in Brooklyn and the Art Museum of SUNY Potsdam, as well as having received a number of artist residencies and fellowships from Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture, the MacDowell Colony, and the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council. Her research interests include the performative nature of technology and digital media, network culture, and the blurring lines between public and private spaces. Han earned her MFA in Electronic Integrated Arts from the New York State College of Ceramics at Alfred University in Alfred, NY and her BFA in Painting from the Seoul National University in Seoul, Korea.
