Dr. Catherine Paradiso is an alumnus of the CSI Nursing program, earned two Master’s degrees and board certification in Adult Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner from Rutgers University and SUNY Stony Brook respectively, and holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice Degree from the University of Buffalo; her scholarship focuses on the care of Transgendered Patients. Dr. Paradiso has been in a primary practice here on Staten Island and has held a variety of faculty positions over the years including as Adjunct faculty at CSI for over 15 years. She has served in many leadership roles across the continuum of health care, including holding cabinet position in the Mayor’s Office and continues to be very active in the Staten Island community.
