Members of the College of Staten Island community demonstrated their support for the Borough’s rich African American, African, and Caribbean history by taking part in the Third Annual Staten Island African Parade, which was held last Saturday.

Approximately 50 CSI students joined the procession. They were accompanied by College President Dr. Tomas Morales, Provost and Senior Vice President Dr. William Fritz, Vice President for Student Affairs Jerald Jones-Woolfolk, and Dean of Humanities and Social Sciences Dr. Christine Flynn Saulnier.

It was a beautiful day for the parade, which proceeded from Borough Hall onto Bay Street, ending at Tappen Park where a culture festival was held.
