Last February, several student organizations at CSI did tremendous work to support Red Cross Haiti Relief efforts. From selling raffle tickets to chocolates to teddy bears, students spread the love, all in efforts to support the victims of devastated Haiti.

On Thursday, Apr. 7 in the Center for the Arts Recital Hall from 2:30pm to 3:20pm, Denise Bloise, Director of the Brooklyn and Staten Island Chapter of the American Red Cross, is coming to thank the students and to share some of the work the Red Cross is doing in Haiti. Debi Kee, Associate Director of Student Life, will also share remarks about engagement and leadership.

The event is hosted by ALPHA (Academics, Leadership, Public Service, Humility, and Acceptance; formerly the OUI Club), the student club advised by the Office of Disability Services, in collaboration with Student Government.

This event promises to be a proud moment for all students who contributed to disaster.
