The World On Wednesday Lecture Series will present Hernan A. Green, Office of the Registrar, discussing “Improving Health through Service Leadership: A Visitor’s Perspective of the Dominican Republic” on Apr. 28 in the Campus Center, Room 227 from 12:20pm to 1:10pm.
Mr. Green will speak about his trips to the Dominican Republic with groups of Nursing students and Nursing faculty. The groups established and ran day clinics in the poorest suburbs of Santo Domingo. Come and listen as he shares his perceptions and observations of Dominican culture and their health care system.
The World on Wednesday series is sponsored by the Center for International Service and it is approved CC CLUE credit.
