Commencement 2010 will be held on Thursday, May 27, 2010 at 10:00am on the Great Lawn, rain or shine. Professor Sandi Cooper will serve as Grand Marshal. CSI music student, Masafumi Toyoda ‘10 will sing the National Anthem. Professor Marianne Jeffries will bring greetings from the faculty. Mr. Vullnet Kolari (’98) will bring greetings from the alumni, and Michael Young ’10 will bring greetings from the students. Our Honorary Degree recipient, Dr. Muriel Howard, will be awarded the Doctor of Humane Letters, honoris causa, and will give the Commencement address.
Departmental exercises begin immediately after the College-wide Commencement. A reception in the Campus Center for the graduates and their guests and the College community will follow the departmental exercises.
The Alumni Association Reception for the faculty, staff, and alumni will be held in the Sports and Recreation Center from 1:00pm to 2:00pm.
The Honors Convocation Program will be held on Tuesday, May 25, 2010 in the Center for the Arts, Springer Concert Hall beginning at 7:00pm.
