The following workshops will be offered by the Office of Information Technology during November and December 2010:
“Introduction to MS Word 2007” – Tuesday, Nov. 16 (2:00pm to 4:00pm): Become familiar with the basic functions of the program. Seating for this workshop is limited to 30 participants.

“Introduction to MS Excel 2007” – Wednesday, Nov. 17 (9:30am to 11:30am): Become familiar with the basic functions of the program. Seating for this workshop is limited to 30 participants.

“MS Word 2007 – Intermediate” – Tuesday, Nov. 23 (2:00pm to 4:00pm): Learn how to do tables, texting styles, tricks, etc.

“MS Excel 2007 – Intermediate” – Wednesday, Nov. 24 (9:30am to 11:30am): Learn how to do formulas, calculations, and tricks in Excel.

“MS PowerPoint 2007 – Basic” – Tuesday, Nov. 30 (2:00pm to 4:00pm): Learn how to do simple presentations.

“File Management, Security and Back-Up” – Wednesday, Dec. 1 (9:30am to 11:30am): Learn how to save, retrieve, and create folders and files. Learn how to burn a CD and create back-ups of your documents to a CD and flash drive. General computer knowledge is required. Participants will need to supply their own flash drive. Seating for this workshop is limited to 30 participants per session.

“Introduction to MS Exchange (Web Version) and the Password Reset Function”– Tuesday, Dec. 7 (2:00pm to 4:00pm): This training session is designed for those employees who would like to become more familiar with the Web version of the Microsoft Exchange program. The class will cover creating contact lists and distribution lists. We will also review the automatic password reset function.

“MS Access 2003 – Basic” – Wednesday, Dec. 8 (9:30am to 11:30am): Learn how to do simple tables.

All classes will take place in Building 2N, Room 115.
