We reported our third week of results today. The third week begins the completive phase of the contest. If our progress is any indication, we have seen an increase in recyclable pounds and a reduction in waste collected.

Less waste entering the waste stream means fewer carbon releases emanating from CSI. Please remember to place your trash or recyclables in the proper containers throughout the campus. Carry that trash from your car in the parking lot to the proper container, rather than tossing it on the ground. CSI and the environment will be cleaner for your efforts.

You can see our weekly results at CSI’s Sustainability Website  then access the “How are we doing?” link.  After that visit the “Results” link, which will show you that CSI is in fourth place out of 225 schools nationally in the Grand Champion Contest.

Congratulations and keep up the good work.
