This year the New Student Orientation has been revised and expanded. All new students will be required to attend a two-day orientation that culminates with registration on day two. The aim of orientation is to familiarize students with the College, bond them with each other, provide them with academic advisement, and then register them–all while making them feel welcome and connected to the College. This requires a College-wide effort with people from all areas and across all divisions participating in the events, so we are asking for your help.

Please review Part One and Part Two of the draft of the orientation schedule and the list of the orientation dates; we are seeking people who will volunteer for a few hours on a couple of dates. If you are interested in being trained to participate as an adviser or greeter, please discuss this with your supervisor and please email one of us to indicate the date(s) and time(s) you would be available.

We look forward to a successful series of new student orientations and we know we can make it happen with your participation.
