The Division of Student Affairs/Office of Student Life has launched a new leadership development program called the “Leadership Brown Bag.”  This program is a series of conversations facilitated by CSI faculty and staff designed to increase and sharpen our students’ critical thinking and leadership skills. The series is designed especially for students interested in meeting new people, developing their leadership skills, and applying them to everyday issues in society.

Our first brown bag, “Conflict Resolution/Transformation,” facilitated by Alan Hoffner, will take place next Wednesday, Oct. 5, 2011 in the Campus Center (Building 1C), Room 215 from 2:30pm to 3:20pm. We are asking if you would share this opportunity with your students.

We would welcome the opportunity to discuss any interest you may have in convening a group or to lead a discussion on your topic of interest and expertise or any ideas that you may have for a future “Leadership Brown Bag.” If you have any questions or comments, please contact Robert King Kee in the Office of Student Life in Building1C, Room 201, via email at robert.kee@csi.cuny.edu, or at 718.982.3119.
