The Gallery of the College of Staten Island/CUNY (located in Building 1P) is pleased to announce the fall exhibition: Donatello, Michelangelo, Bernini: The Photographs of Ralph Lieberman. This exhibition displays the work of the three greatest sculptors of the Renaissance and Baroque eras in exquisite black and white photographs by Ralph Lieberman.
Lieberman, who is both an accomplished art historian and photographer, is uniquely positioned to address the multiple issues of photographing classical works of sculpture. Beyond this, his photographs have a commanding and aesthetic quality as works of art in their own right. The exhibition will run from Wednesday, Oct. 12 to Saturday, Dec. 10.
