The World On Wednesday Lecture Series presents “Returned Student Panel – Studying Abroad in Italy” with Christopher Tingue, Center for International Service, on Wednesday, Oct. 26 in the Campus Center (Building 1C), Room 211 from 12:20pm to 1:10pm.

This panel will feature students who were recent participants in study abroad programs in Italy who have benefited from a variety of scholarships and grants to support their studies in Italy. They will discuss their experiences adjusting to the local culture and society, culture shock and re-entry adjustment, how their expectations were met, and assessment of their academic learning experiences abroad.

CSI sends students to partners in Florence, Rome, Tuscania, and Venice for winter, summer, or semester programs, as well as a summer faculty-led geology field course east of Naples. CSI has also sent students for the semester-long CUNY-Italy exchange to universities in Perugia and Siena.

Contact the Center if you would like to learn more about the opportunities for study abroad in Italy or other countries.

The World on Wednesday series is sponsored by the Center for International Service. It is approved for a CC Clue Credit.
