The Public Allies – New York, 2012-2013 program is now accepting applications.

With Public Allies, you can make a career out of making a difference.
Public Allies are diverse and passionate social change makers who create pathways for a stronger community and a lifetime of impact. The Allies program is an excellent introduction for recent graduates to careers in public service. Through the Allies program, recent graduates work at various host organizations, including small startups, large agencies, afterschool programs, housing programs, immigrant services, and job development initiatives. The program is especially interested in candidates with a demonstrated commitment to public service: evident either through their past volunteer/work experiences or in their willingness to continue this work after the Public Allies experience is over.
The application deadline for the 2012-2013 year is Sunday, Apr. 29, 2012.
